All any parent wants is for their child to be safe. Sometimes, however, circumstances parents/ guardians face in their lives make it difficult to ensure that children are being protected.
For this reason, it is an area of work that Kids on Track feel passionately about being involved with.
We are able to work in conjunction with social services, paediatricians and other not for profit organisations to assess risk to a child and also to educate parents on how best to provide the optimal environment in which their child/ren can thrive.
While much of our work in this regard is done directly through contact with the families concerned, we also run training workshops and help write policies for organisations who work with vulnerable children and young people on the legal issues to be aware of and to increase understanding.
